Radiometer adds Glucose to the ABL80 FLEX
Radiometer has just launched a glucose sensor to the ABL80 FLEX, a portable blood gas analyzer that emphasizes speed and simplicity at the point-of-care.
Designed to be equivalent to the glucose sensor on Radiometer’s bench top analyzers, the glucose sensor on the ABL80 FLEX represents Radiometer’s commitment to providing quality solutions also for point-of-care testing.
The glucose sensor on the ABL80 FLEX offers:
- Measuring range up to 75 mmol/L (1351 mg/dL)
- Linearity performance specified to be 0 to 40 mmol/L (721mg/dL), when pO2 ≥ 90mmHg
- Independent of pO2 levels over a wide linearity range
- Independent of changes in Hct and of plasma protein effects
- Largely interference-free (<│0.1│mmol/L)
- No refrigeration required during storage
- Fast start-up time of sensor, approximately 8 minutes
