Fast, accurate and early detection or ruling out of potentially life-threatening conditions

Emergency care

The hospital’s emergency room provides initial treatment for a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries, some of which may be life-threatening and require immediate attention

When a patient is brought to the ER our analyzers are ready to provide advanced diagnostic testing on parameters such as blood gases and lactate.

Radiometer America’s analyzers can measure these parameters directly at the point-of-care to enable fast, accurate and early detection of potentially life-threatening conditions such as organ failure and sepsis.

The ABL90 FLEX is commonly found in emergency rooms. In addition to blood gas and pH, it provides critical labs, including lactate, at the point-of-care in just 35 seconds. This short turnaround time is critical in keeping up with the fast-paced demands of an ER and aiding in the quick diagnosis and triage of patients.

With AQURE, Radiometer America’s POC analyzer and data management system, test results are automatically identified, matched to the right patient and sent to the hospital and laboratory information systems.
