Types of traning offered

Radiometer customer training is provided for new customers leading up to a new installation. These include:

User training

Training dedicated for everyday users of our instruments. In this training, we cover main analyzer components, how to run a sample, consumable replacements and steps to avoid preanalytical errors.

Duration: 1 h.

Super-user training

Training dedicated to hospital staff supporting everyday users of our instruments. The training includes, in addition to the topics covered during user training, how to perform maintenance procedures, quality control and basic troubleshooting.

Duration: 2 h.

Train-the-trainer training

Training dedicated hospital personnel responsible for the training of everyday users of our instruments. The training focuses on equipping hospital trainers with the knowledge and materials, incl. videos and job aides, necessary to training staff.

Duration: 3 h.

Onsite training

Training sessions are provided face-to-face at your hospital by our Clinical Application Specialists. We try to keep the number of participants per session around five. The goal is to keep participants engaged by making sure everyone has hands-on time on the instrument and can ask questions.

Certificates

Training checklists are typically provided and signed at the end of each training. Certificates for your staff can be provided by request.

Continuous learning

Radiometer offers different options for continuous learning beyond onsite training sessions. In addition to built-in tutorials in our instruments, we offer bite-size, how-to videos, job aides, and training apps using augmented reality to support self-paced learning.

Free resources

As a Radiometer customer, you also have free access to Radiometer’s knowledge site www.acutecaretesting.org and to clinical webinars where you can apply for continual medical education (CME) credits.
